Comments
When visitors leave comments, we collect data from the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, and browser user agent string to assist in spam detection. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible publicly in context with your comment.

Media
If you upload images, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the site.

Cookies
When you leave a comment, you may opt-in to save your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience, lasting one year. Temporary cookies are set to test if your browser accepts cookies and are discarded after closing the browser.

  • Login cookies persist for two days, while screen options cookies last one year. Selecting “Remember Me” keeps you logged in for two weeks. Upon logout, login cookies are removed.
  • Editing or publishing an article saves an additional cookie indicating the post ID, expiring after one day.
